Pineapple-Glazed Ham

Ingredients
- 1 fully cooked bone-in ham (8-10 lbs)
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup honey
- 1/2 cup pineapple juice
- 1/4 cup Dijon mustard
- 1/4 tsp ground cloves
- Pineapple rings (canned or fresh)
- Maraschino cherries (optional)
- Fresh rosemary sprigs for garnish
Instructions
- Prepare the Ham:
- Preheat oven to 325°F (165°C). Place ham in a roasting pan, cut side down. Score the surface in a crisscross pattern.
- Make the Glaze:
- In a saucepan, combine brown sugar, honey, pineapple juice, Dijon mustard, and cloves. Simmer until slightly thickened.
- Apply the Glaze:
- Brush half the glaze evenly over the ham. Cover with aluminum foil.
- Bake:
- Roast ham for about 1 1/2 hours, basting with remaining glaze every 30 minutes.
- Add Pineapple Rings:
- Arrange pineapple rings and cherries (if using) on the ham during the last 30 minutes. Baste generously and return to oven uncovered for a caramelized finish.
- Serve:
- Let ham rest for 15 minutes before slicing. Garnish with rosemary sprigs and serve warm.
