Loaded Bacon Cheese Fries

Perfect side dish for lunch or dinner
Ingredients
- 28–32 oz frozen French fries (or homemade fries)
- 8 slices bacon, cooked until crispy and crumbled
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese (or a cheddar–mozzarella mix)
- ½ cup sour cream
- 2 green onions, thinly sliced
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Cook the Fries:
- Prepare French fries according to package directions (oven, air fryer, or deep-fry) until golden and crispy. Season lightly with salt and pepper.
- Prepare Bacon:
- While the fries cook, fry bacon in a skillet until crispy. Drain on paper towels, then crumble.
- Assemble the Fries:
- Spread hot fries onto an oven-safe platter or baking sheet. Sprinkle evenly with shredded cheese and crumbled bacon.
- Melt the Cheese:
- Place under the broiler for 1–2 minutes, or until cheese is melted and bubbly. Watch closely to prevent burning.
- Top & Serve:
- Drizzle with sour cream (or serve it on the side) and sprinkle with green onions. Serve immediately while hot.
- Tip: Add jalapeños, diced tomatoes, or ranch dressing for extra flavor.
