Chicken with Buttered Noodles

A delicious buttery chicken and noodle dish.

  1. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper on both sides.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the chicken breasts and cook until golden brown and cooked through, about 6-7 minutes per side. Remove the chicken and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, melt half the butter. Add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.
  4. Pour in the chicken broth and bring to a simmer. Let it cook for a few minutes to reduce slightly.
  5. Stir in the heavy cream and the remaining butter, cooking until the sauce thickens a bit.
  6. Return the chicken to the skillet, coating it well with the creamy garlic sauce. Warm through for a couple more minutes.
  7. Serve the chicken with buttered noodles or your favorite pasta, spooning extra sauce on top.
