Chicken with Buttered Noodles

A delicious buttery chicken and noodle dish.
Ingredients
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 tablespoons butter, divided
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
Instructions
- Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper on both sides.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the chicken breasts and cook until golden brown and cooked through, about 6-7 minutes per side. Remove the chicken and set aside.
- In the same skillet, melt half the butter. Add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.
- Pour in the chicken broth and bring to a simmer. Let it cook for a few minutes to reduce slightly.
- Stir in the heavy cream and the remaining butter, cooking until the sauce thickens a bit.
- Return the chicken to the skillet, coating it well with the creamy garlic sauce. Warm through for a couple more minutes.
- Serve the chicken with buttered noodles or your favorite pasta, spooning extra sauce on top.
