Shrimp Scampi Pasta Bake

Ingredients
- 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 16 oz linguine pasta
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 6 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup lime juice
- 1/4 cup lemon juice
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
- 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- Salt and black pepper to taste 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup bread crumbs
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Cook pasta: Boil linguine according to package instructions, drain, and set aside.
- Sauté shrimp: In a large oven-safe skillet, melt butter with olive oil over medium heat. Add garlic and red pepper flakes, cooking until fragrant (about 1 minute). Add shrimp and cook until pink and opaque (3-5 minutes).
- Deglaze and simmer: Pour in lime juice and lemon juice, scraping up any browned bits from the pan. Let simmer until the sauce thickens slightly.
- Combine and bake: Stir in cooked pasta, parsley, and half of the Parmesan cheese.
- Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for 10-15 minutes until heated through and bubbly.
- Finish and serve: Remove from oven, sprinkle with remaining Parmesan cheese and bread crumbs. Broil for 1-2 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
