Creamy Garlic Shrimp Pasta Delight

Definitely one to serve for dinner with invited guests.
Ingredients
- 8 oz pasta (linguine or fettuccine)
- 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Cook the pasta according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the shrimp and cook until pink, about 2-3 minutes per side. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
- Pour in the heavy cream, stirring to combine, then add Parmesan cheese and Italian seasoning. Cook for 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Return the shrimp to the skillet, adding the cooked pasta. Toss everything together until well coated in the creamy sauce.
- Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
