Crockpot Broccoli Velvety Cheese Soup

A delicious comfort soup for lunch or dinner.
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 2 tablespoons butter or margarine
- 1 (10 oz) can cream of chicken soup
- 1 1/2 cups milk
- 1 lb Velveeta cheese, cubed
Instructions
- In a skillet, sauté onions in butter or margarine until soft.
- Transfer onions to a crock pot. Add cream of chicken soup, milk, and Velveeta cheese cubes.
- Stir to combine. Cook on low for about 4 hours.
- Serve warm. Optionally, top with extra cheese or fresh herbs.
