
Cheesesteak Tortellini in Rich Provolone Sauce

This hearty comfort dinner will go well with everyone
Ingredients
- 1 lb cheese tortellini (fresh or frozen)
- 1 lb thinly sliced steak (sirloin or ribeye)
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 onion, sliced
- 1 green pepper, sliced
- 1 red pepper, sliced
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 2 tbsp butter
- 2 tbsp flour
- 2 cups milk
- 1 ½ cups shredded provolone cheese
- Salt & pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Cook tortellini according to package; set aside.
- In a skillet, heat oil. Cook steak until browned, then remove.
- Sauté onions, peppers, and garlic until tender. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, melt butter, whisk in flour, then slowly add milk to create a sauce.
- Stir in provolone cheese until smooth and creamy.
- Add steak, peppers, onions, and tortellini. Toss to coat in sauce.
- Garnish with parsley and serve hot.
