
Cinnamon Roll Apple Lasagna

A great comfort dessert what will go with anything!
Ingredients
- 2 cans refrigerated cinnamon roll dough (with icing)
- 4 large apples, peeled, cored, and thinly sliced
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Icing from cinnamon roll cans (for topping)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, toss apple slices with lemon juice, sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg until evenly coated.
- Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
- Separate cinnamon rolls and cut each into quarters.
- Spread a layer of cinnamon roll pieces evenly in the bottom of the dish.
- Sprinkle a portion of the apple mixture over the dough layer.
- Drizzle melted butter and vanilla extract over the apples.
- Repeat layering cinnamon roll pieces and apples until all ingredients are used, finishing with a top layer of cinnamon roll pieces.
- Bake for 35-40 minutes or until the cinnamon rolls are cooked through and golden brown.
- Remove from oven and let cool slightly.
- Drizzle the provided icing over the top before serving.
